APPLICATIONS OF BIOHUMUS
BIOHUMUS is used:
a) as basic fertilizer during fall and spring,
b) as a substrate for production of seeds and seedlings,
c) for fertilization before and during planting,
d) for feeding the plants during vegetation,
e) for preparation of different substrates for greenhouses, pots, etc.
Application:
For all plants BIOHUMUS can be used dry (tilled or spread on the soil surface), as a solution or as a suspension.
Storage:
Keep in dry places, with normal moisture, without direct sunlight.
Following are recommended applications. BIOHUMUS does not burn even the most delicate plants and can be used in larger quantities.
Note: due to hygroscopicity and changes in weight
BIOHUMUS is measured in liters.
BASIC FERTILIZATION
Before the basic treatment of the soil apply 1000 to 4000 liters BIOHUMUS per ha (100-400 ml/ m2). Applications depend on the characteristics of the soil and of the crop.
Note: basic fertilization reduces the needs of fertilization before and during planting and of feeding the plants during growth.
SOAKING THE SEEDS BEFORE PLANTING
Make a water solution of BIOHUMUS 1:1 by volume. Leave it for 48 hours, mixing it regularly. Put the seeds, bulbs or potatoes for planting in the extract of the solution for 4 hours. Let them dry for 48 hours.
SEEDLING
Plant the treated with BIOHUMUS seeds in soil mixtures containing:
- soil 85% by volume, BIOHUMUS 15% v. (for lower seedling use less BIOHUMUS)
- soil 50% v., BIOHUMUS 15% v., perlit 35% v.
TOMATO, CUCUMBER, PEPPER AND OTHER VEGETABLES
1. In external production – applying before planting:
Apply BIOHUMUS over furrow for planting (6-8 cm deep) in the following quantities: for tomato – 100 ml/plant or 3900 liters BIOHUMUS per ha; for pepper – 50 ml/plant or 3900 liters/ha; for cucumber – 200 ml/plant or 4800 liters/ha.
2. In greenhouses – mixtures with content:
- peat moss 60% v., perlit 30% v., BIOHUMUS 10% v.
- soil 50% v., perlit 35% v., BIOHUMUS 15% v.
3. Feeding the plants (in external and greenhouse production):
Make a water solution of BIOHUMUS 1:10 (BIOHUMUS to water by volume). Leave it for at least 24 hours, mixing it regularly. Extract the liquid.
Feed the plants with the extract 200 ml/plant. That means for tomato – 7000 liters/ha (700 liters BIOHUMUS); for pepper – 1600 liters/ha (160 liters BIOHUMUS); for cucumber – 4800 liters/ha (480 liters BIOHUMUS). Depending on need treatment can be done 2-3 times during vegetation period.
For feeding can also be used locally dry BIOHUMUS.
STRAWBERRIES
Preparation of soil: apply BIOHUMUS equally over the area 3000-3500 liters/ha (300-350 ml/m2) and water afterwards.
Application during planting: 200-250 ml/meter of furrow.
Feeding: 2-3 times during vegetation period.
FLOWERS
1. In pots:
Mix 1:3 BIOHUMUS to soil or use SOIL MIXTURE WITH BIOHUMUS. Feed every 2-3 months with 2-4 spoons BIOHUMUS mixing it with upper layer of the substrate in the pot.
2. In the yard:
During planting put in the hole or furrow 50-100 ml/plant, cover with soil and water. Feed depending on need with 50-100 ml/plant.
POTATO
Planting: 100-150 ml/plant BIOHUMUS in the hole. After planting cover with soil. Feed depending on need with 100 ml/plant.
FRUIT TREES, VINES, SHRUBS, ROSES
Planting: in and around the plant hole apply 2-4 liters BIOHUMUS per tree; 1-2 liters per shrub or rose; 0,5-1 liters per vine. Feeding: during spring and fall add over the root system 1-3 liters BIOHUMUS per tree; 0,5-1,5 liters per shrub, rose, vine. Mix carefully with the upper soil.
LAWNS AND TURF
Planting: spread over the planting area 150-200 ml BIOHUMUS per m2, then mix with the upper soil layer and the grass seeds. Feeding: distribute 50-150 ml per m2 (after mowing) and water the grass.
SOIL RECULTIVATION
Spread 3 liters BIOHUMUS per m2 and mix with the 10-cm upper soil layer. |
